Today I will be presenting at the Pikes Peak Writers Conference. My workshop, titled “Myths of Fictional Firefighting,” will highlight the most common errors I see about firefighting in books, movies, and television.
Remember this November 2013 post about firefighters wearing oxygen bottles on their backs? That’s my Number 2 myth. In fact, I just ran across it again about a month ago – and it was the second time I’d seen it from the same New York Times best-selling author!
I’ll be sharing my favorite fictional firefighting myths in future posts. What do you suppose number 1 is?
If you’re not at my workshop, you’ll just have to wait for the reveal…
